Uninstall

Follow the directions below to uninstall software, applications, or add ons from your operating system or browser.


Windows XP

  1. From the Start Menu find and select Control Panel.
  2. Select the Add or Remove Programs icon.
  3. Select the program you wish to uninstall.
  4. Click the Add/Remove button.
  5. Follow the prompts to finish the uninstall process.

Windows Vista

  1. From the Start Menu find and select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs icon and click the Uninstall A Program link.
  3. Select the program you wish to uninstall.
  4. Click the Uninstall/Change button (or right-click the program and select Uninstall option).
  5. Follow the prompts to finish the uninstall process.

Windows 7

  1. From the Start Menu find and select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs and Features icon.
  3. Select the program you wish to uninstall.
  4. Click on the Uninstall button (or right-click the program and select Uninstall option).
  5. Follow the prompts to finish the uninstall process.

Windows 8

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen using your mouse (or finger for touchscreen displays), and then click Search.
  2. Enter Uninstall in the search box and then click the Settings category below the search box.
  3. Click Uninstall a Program from list on the left side of the screen.
  4. From the Programs and Features dialog box that opens, select the program you wish to uninstall from your computer.
  5. Click Uninstall.
  6. Restart your computer.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer browser window.
  2. Click on the Tools icon located in the upper right hand corner of the browser window.
  3. Select Manage add-ons.
  4. Select the program you wish to uninstall.
  5. Click on the Disable button on the bottom right hand corner of the window.
